In the 24thth minute of the game Alan Trevisan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EC Suga Osso's Denílson Soeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Clóvis Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. EC Suga Osso's supporters rose to their feet, but Clóvis Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Maranhense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 29 played minutes Parecy AD got a freekick which was hit by Belmiro Pirani. Clóvis Simões struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Cássio Maranhense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EC Suga Osso. Clóvis Simões could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Cássio Maranhense made a huge save.
