Itapiru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Parecy AD the free kick. Parecy AD's Cássio Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Barreto in the 20th minute of play. Diamantino Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Fabiano Terra hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Parecy AD's Armando da Fonseca broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Armando da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
