Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nando Salles started the match with the kick off. If Ronaldinho Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Silvinho Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Britto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moisés de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Itaruma's zone, Silvinho Corrêa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés de Sousa came out of the goal and Silvinho Corrêa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute, Vipers FC's Silvinho Corrêa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Silvinho Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, José Paulo Viana made a precise shot to the right of Moisés de Sousa. Itaruma's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Nando Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enio Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Britto in the 46th minute of play. The supporters of Vipers FC booed when Itaruma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vito Almeida shot from long distance in the 48th minute, but Moisés de Sousa was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvinho Corrêa to strike the kick off in the second half. When Conrado Britto fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itaruma's protests and gave Conrado Britto a yellow card for diving instead. Enio Bueno came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Itaruma's Conrado Britto. But to his dismay, Conrado Britto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Moisés de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Massa in the 61st minute of play. Vipers FC's Enio Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nando Salles in the 62nd minute of play. Enio Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nando Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvinho Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Moisés de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Silvinho Corrêa put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Moisés de Sousa. 76 minutes into the match, Ronaldinho Massa notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Itaruma's Moisés de Sousa. Moisés de Sousa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Vipers FC defense, Oscar Abreu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enio Bueno. The Vipers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enio Bueno should have stopped the shot. Ronaldinho Massa struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Moisés de Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vipers FC. Enio Bueno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrado Britto in the 94th minute. Vipers FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
