Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adolfo de Sena started the match with the kick off. When Oscar Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itaruma's protests and gave Oscar Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Itaruma getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Oscar Abreu hit a great ball. Isaltino Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando Salles in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Setubinha SS getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. José Cearense hit a great ball. Isaltino Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Salles in the 17th minute of play forced Setubinha SS's goalkeeper Isaltino Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Túlio Diniz fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itaruma's protests and gave Túlio Diniz a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Itaruma's zone, Adolfo de Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés de Sousa came out of the goal and Adolfo de Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaltino Palmeira made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Oscar Abreu sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Setubinha SS's Leandro Mattos got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Conrado Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Nando Salles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isaltino Palmeira. That made the score 1-0 in the 39 minute of play. Nando Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Nando Salles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isaltino Palmeira. That made the score 2-0 in the 47 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute, Caio Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Itaruma's Matías Prestes tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Isaltino Palmeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nando Salles's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After 58 played minutes Setubinha SS got a freekick which was hit by Caio Trigo. Conrado Britto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Isaltino Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70thth minute of the game Conrado Britto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Setubinha SS's Isaltino Palmeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Adolfo de Sena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Setubinha SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itaruma the free kick. In the 74th match minute, Setubinha SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo de Sena to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Conrado Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itaruma's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Britto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaltino Palmeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78thth minute of the game Conrado Britto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Setubinha SS's Isaltino Palmeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isaltino Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Salles in the 79th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Nando Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaltino Palmeira was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. When Caio Trigo fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Setubinha SS's protests and gave Caio Trigo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Itaruma booed when Setubinha SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaltino Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Isaltino Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Salles in the 90th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Britto in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaltino Palmeira saved Setubinha SS from getting behind.
