José Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enio Bueno having to interfere. Caio Trigo charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caio Trigo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, Setubinha SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Trigo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvinho Corrêa in the 9th minute of play forced Setubinha SS's goalkeeper Isaltino Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Setubinha SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ronaldinho Massa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 11 played minutes Setubinha SS got a freekick which was hit by Bernardinho Galvão. Ronaldinho Massa scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaltino Palmeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ronaldinho Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Setubinha SS getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. José Cearense hit a great ball. Isaltino Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Paulo Viana's late challenge caught a Setubinha SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Paulo Viana helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vipers FC's José Paulo Viana got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute of the match Bernardinho Galvão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enio Bueno skillfully saved the ball. In the 37thth minute of the game Silvinho Corrêa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Setubinha SS's Isaltino Palmeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Vipers FC defense, Diogo Lira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enio Bueno. The Vipers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enio Bueno should have stopped the shot. Ronaldinho Massa took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaltino Palmeira. Isaltino Palmeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ronaldinho Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Palmeira having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvinho Corrêa to strike the kick off in the second half. Ronaldinho Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Palmeira having to interfere. Isaltino Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Corrêa in the 59th minute of play. Vito Almeida took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isaltino Palmeira. Setubinha SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Diogo Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enio Bueno having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvinho Corrêa in the 65th minute of play forced Setubinha SS's goalkeeper Isaltino Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, one of Setubinha SS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Setubinha SS. Ronaldinho Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvinho Corrêa scored 4-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaltino Palmeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Enio Bueno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diogo Lira in the 79th minute. Silvinho Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Palmeira having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Ronaldinho Massa made a precise shot to the right of Isaltino Palmeira. Setubinha SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. The supporters of Vipers FC booed when Setubinha SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Vipers FC's Ronaldinho Massa in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Setubinha SS's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Vipers FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
