José Vítor Melo hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the game, Fabinho Paraíba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Ortiz couldn't finish the play. With his leg Ian Tepedino managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Corujito Futebol Clube's Marcelo Ortiz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wesley Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldir Faustino in the 96th minute of play.
