A collision led to Irapuan getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Beto Toledo hit a great ball. Geovânio Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Vasconcelos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serginho de Sena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Geovânio Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Serginho de Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute, Geovânio Meireles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th match minute, Flamengo C.R was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovânio Meireles to maneuver through the defense. If Frederico Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauã Machado made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Breno Campidelis sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beto Toledo got free with Kauã Machado in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geovânio Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Irapuan's Breno Campidelis got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Frederico Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flamengo C.R were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
