Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Flamengo C.R's Danilo Vasconcelos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kauã Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Moreira in the 3rd minute of the match. When Danilo Vasconcelos came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Flamengo C.R fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Vasconcelos couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Flamengo C.R's goalkeeper Kauã Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso da Rocha. Dadá Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Germano de Salles took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kauã Machado. Kauã Machado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 28 played minutes Mocidade Napolitana got a freekick which was hit by Germano de Salles. Germano de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Kauã Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute of the match, Válbson Mangueira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kauã Machado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Danilo Vasconcelos put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Célio Recife. After 39 played minutes Flamengo C.R got a freekick which was hit by Patrick de Mendonça. When Geovânio Meireles came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Flamengo C.R fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovânio Meireles couldn't finish the play. Kauã Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano de Salles in the 45th minute of play. When Geovânio Meireles came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Flamengo C.R fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovânio Meireles couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Germano de Salles to strike the kick off in the second half. Allan Faustino hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Kauã Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Braga in the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Flamengo C.R's goal looked a bit too open when Túlio Moreira came free, but Kauã Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Danilo Vasconcelos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narciso da Rocha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kauã Machado having to make a save. Kauã Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano de Salles in the 68th minute of play. If Geovânio Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Danilo Vasconcelos came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Flamengo C.R fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Vasconcelos couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Geovânio Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo C.R's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovânio Meireles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Célio Recife breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lenílson dos Santos hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When Fred Braga came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Mocidade Napolitana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Braga couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Flamengo C.R's Geovânio Meireles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. A collision led to Mocidade Napolitana getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Narciso da Rocha hit a great ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Allan Faustino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo C.R's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Faustino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Geovânio Meireles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flamengo C.R fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. If Dadá Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
