Durval de Medeiros took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guto Seco. Guto Seco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 6th minute, Váldson Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Time de Futebol's Jefferson Rocha threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Váldson Aguiar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 10 minutes, Custódio Peres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cajobi EC and the Time de Futebol players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Custódio Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Váldson Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cícero Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Rômulo Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guto Seco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Durval de Medeiros went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Durval de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Eduardo Penha in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guto Seco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Váldson Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Rocha having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Eduardo Penha was the one to do the kick off. Time de Futebol's Guto Seco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Time de Futebol from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Eduardo Penha in the 60th minute of play forced Time de Futebol's goalkeeper Guto Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Cajobi EC's Carlos Eduardo Penha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guto Seco. Guto Seco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Carlos Eduardo Penha got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 73rdth minute of the game Rui Perez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Time de Futebol's Guto Seco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Eduardo Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guto Seco having to interfere. Váldson Aguiar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jefferson Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Rômulo Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Eduardo Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guto Seco having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Time de Futebol's zone, Carlos Eduardo Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guto Seco came out of the goal and Carlos Eduardo Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Time de Futebol's Guto Seco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Time de Futebol from getting a goal against them. Jefferson Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Váldson Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. When the match was over Cajobi EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Time de Futebol throughout the match.
