Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jeferson Ceresso took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Jeferson Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Nelson Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcondesia SS's Gilson Tinoco couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Farpao. Zé Augusto Prado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeferson Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcondesia SS's Manfredo Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, one of Farpao:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Farpao. In the 29th minute, Duda do Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caco Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Marcondesia SS's goalkeeper José Pedro Gomes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caco Moura. In the 34th minute, Naldo Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelson Linares charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nelson Linares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Farpao fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Marcondesia SS. Gilson Tinoco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zé Augusto Prado. 0-2. In the 46th minute, Manfredo Ribeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Augusto Prado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

Naldo Passos struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Zé Augusto Prado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marcondesia SS. In the 65th minute Jeferson Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Augusto Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Farpao's Duda do Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Pedro Gomes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 69 in the game by Manfredo Ribeiro from a close distance when the talented Zé Augusto Prado managed to make a qualified save. Farpao's players were relieved. When Farpao's Duda do Nascimento in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marcondesia SS's goalie prevented a goal. 73 minutes into the game, Jarbas Coelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Farpao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marcondesia SS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Farpao's Jarbas Coelho got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 87 played minutes Marcondesia SS got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fabiano Coutinho. If Jeferson Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfredo Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Zé Augusto Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Marcondesia SS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Marcondesia SS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
