Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tião Galvão took the kick off in the first half of the match. Júlio Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tião Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Buranhem's Tião Galvão got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 17 minutes, Ronaldão Mineiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roma Futebol Clube and the Buranhem players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Roma Futebol Clube's Ronaldão Mineiro got a free kick in the 17th minute. Tião Galvão struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Júlio Dracena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buranhem. When Tião Galvão came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Buranhem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tião Galvão couldn't finish the play. If Adrianinho Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perivaldo Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Dracena having to interfere. Tião Galvão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Buranhem were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arlindo Donato made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Tião Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buranhem's supporters rose to their feet, but Tião Galvão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Dracena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Júlio Dracena came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Buranhem's Perivaldo Proença. But to his dismay, Perivaldo Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Perivaldo Proença's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Júlio Dracena skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Décio Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo Donato in the 61st minute of the match. Perivaldo Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cauan Ceresso might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Décio Gomes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cauan Ceresso ran back to his position shaking his head. After 68 played minutes Buranhem got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Silva. In the 69th minute Adrianinho Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cauan Ceresso during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cauan Ceresso hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Vicente da Silva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Júlio Dracena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Roma Futebol Clube's zone, Eurico Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Dracena came out of the goal and Eurico Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Adrianinho Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Roma Futebol Clube's Cauan Ceresso got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 94 minutes, Eurico Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buranhem and the Roma Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eurico Medeiros hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Roma Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Buranhem were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
