Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jacarau's Pedrinho Bueno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Jacarau got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Zilles. After recieving a nice pass, São Jorge Futebol 1992's Gino Velloso tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tomé do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon de Almeida in the 7th minute of the match. Oswaldo de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Paes in the 9th minute of play. Gil Meirelles hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Ademar Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Tomé do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Gil Meirelles took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tomé do Nascimento to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio Paes in the 19th minute of play forced São Jorge Futebol 1992's goalkeeper Oswaldo de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ediberto Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Oswaldo de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Gil Meirelles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The São Jorge Futebol 1992 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Jacarau's Hélio Paes got a free kick in the 30th minute. Tomé do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caco Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio Paes in the 36th minute of play forced São Jorge Futebol 1992's goalkeeper Oswaldo de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maicon de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé do Nascimento having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Maicon de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gil Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé do Nascimento having to interfere. Hélio Paes might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oswaldo de Brito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hélio Paes ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Maicon de Almeida made the kick off in the second half. Gil Meirelles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The São Jorge Futebol 1992 fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when São Jorge Futebol 1992's Gil Meirelles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 67th minute, Gil Meirelles made a precise shot to the right of Tomé do Nascimento. Jacarau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When São Jorge Futebol 1992's Gil Meirelles in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jacarau's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Pedrinho Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacarau's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedrinho Bueno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oswaldo de Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Maicon de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Hélio Paes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacarau's Pedrinho Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jean Reis hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jacarau's zone, Gil Meirelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomé do Nascimento came out of the goal and Gil Meirelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Carlos Zilles's late challenge caught a São Jorge Futebol 1992's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Carlos Zilles helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jacarau fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave São Jorge Futebol 1992 a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gino Velloso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jacarau's Tomé do Nascimento. 6-0. Jean Reis's late challenge caught a São Jorge Futebol 1992's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jean Reis helped the player get up and apologised. After 99 played minutes Jacarau got a freekick which was hit by Jean Reis. São Jorge Futebol 1992 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
