Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Felippe Trigo made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Custódio Neves during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Candido getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Custódio Neves hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Olavo Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horácio Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Massa having to interfere. Franklin Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Silva in the 20th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Dorian Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sapecada SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorian Diniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dorian Diniz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Candido's zone, Felippe Trigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Toledo came out of the goal and Felippe Trigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franklin Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavo Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franklin Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Silva in the 34th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Candido's Franklin Massa threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olavo Silva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 44 minutes into the match, Candido's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Diniz came free, but Edgard Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Felippe Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olavo Silva made a kick off. Franklin Massa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horácio Guimarães's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Franklin Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Dorian Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Zeca Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franklin Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Silva in the 69th minute of the match. Olavo Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franklin Massa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Candido's Horácio Guimarães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franklin Massa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 75th minute, Fábio Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorian Diniz struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Edgard Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sapecada SC. 81 minutes into the match, Candido's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Trigo came free, but Edgard Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorian Diniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Edgard Toledo made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Marcus Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sapecada SC's Felippe Trigo got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Horácio Guimarães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Horácio Guimarães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franklin Massa was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. The supporters of Candido booed when Sapecada SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Candido fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sapecada SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
