When Hugo de Lara came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Atlético Indaialense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo de Lara couldn't finish the play. Cafemirim's Armandinho Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadá Lopes in the 19th minute of play. With his leg Ronaldo Matos managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Cafemirim's João Vítor Fontes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 28 minutes into the match, Cafemirim's João Vítor Fontes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldo Matos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cafemirim's attack was well implemented in the 29th minute, but when João Vítor Fontes was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When Atlético Indaialense FC's Dadá Lopes in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ronaldo Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Augusto Bittencourt in the 44th minute of the match. José Augusto Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Dadá Lopes made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Lopes in the 56th minute of play forced Cafemirim's goalkeeper Armandinho Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Indaialense FC's zone, João Vítor Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldo Matos came out of the goal and João Vítor Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Augusto Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Matos having to interfere. After some careless play in the Atlético Indaialense FC defense, João Vítor Fontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldo Matos. The Atlético Indaialense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldo Matos should have stopped the shot. Mathias Paranaense, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Atlético Indaialense FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Zé Pedro Valle hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Augusto Bittencourt in the 90th minute of play forced Atlético Indaialense FC's goalkeeper Ronaldo Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
