Enrique Pires didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 6th minute. Pinda's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! If Manfredo Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfredo Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Paiva in the 21st minute of play forced Pinda's goalkeeper Roger Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pinda's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mauro Veloso was slow to take the kick. During this time Laudja's players had a chance to rest. If Manfredo Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pinda booed when Laudja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Enrique Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manfredo Diniz made a kick off. A collision led to Pinda getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Teodoro Donatello hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Laudja's Mauro Veloso tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Pinda's Manfredo Diniz in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Laudja's goalie prevented a goal. In the 70th minute of the match Joaquim Sergipano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorival Arósio skillfully saved the ball. Laudja's João Augusto Diniz suffered a sore foot after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 74 minutes, Celso Santana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinda and the Laudja players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roger Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raúl Paiva in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Cesinha Soeiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Laudja's Dorival Arósio didn't even have to move. Mauro Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Cesinha Soeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vicente Favoretto kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. There was no doubt that Pinda were the better team. Pinda's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
