After the first half Raptors United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Adhemar Pontes hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Raptors United's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique do Vale came free, but Cláudio Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Henrique do Vale came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Gramal EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique do Vale couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, João Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adhemar Pontes in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvério Borges during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raptors United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
