Aníbal Toscano guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinduri AD's goalkeeper Gustavo Terra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Váldson de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Luiz Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Terra having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Pinduri AD's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson de Queiroz came free, but Gustavo Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Enio Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinduri AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Enio Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aníbal Toscano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Betão Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, Pinduri AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro Fontes to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Váldson de Queiroz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Terra was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mathias Gomes made the kick off in the second half. Aníbal Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Silveira in the 52nd minute of the match. Pinduri AD's Gustavo Terra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Pinduri AD from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in bahia Fc's zone, Mathias Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aníbal Toscano came out of the goal and Mathias Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Pinduri AD's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson de Queiroz came free, but Gustavo Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luiz Miranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Gustavo Terra made a huge save. If Pedro Luiz Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Váldson de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Terra having to interfere. Pedro Luiz Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Váldson de Queiroz in the 76th minute of play forced Pinduri AD's goalkeeper Gustavo Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Aníbal Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of bahia Fc booed when Pinduri AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Jeferson Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
