The supporters of Enseadinha AD booed when Socamirim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dráusio Fontes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Walmyr Cosme came out and tried to block the shot, but Dráusio Fontes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Silvério Soeiro spun around in front of the goal 13 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Socamirim's goal. Raimundo Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Nilson Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gilberto Tande came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Socamirim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Tande couldn't finish the play. Nilson Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Dráusio Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Gilberto Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Socamirim's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Tande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilson Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 27 played minutes Enseadinha AD got a freekick which was hit by Elano Rocha. Enseadinha AD's Nilson Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Chaves in the 31st minute of play. Gilberto Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Barral during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, Gilberto Tande ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilson Diniz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Gilberto Tande took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson Diniz. Nilson Diniz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Gilberto Tande sped through Enseadinha AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nilson Diniz.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dráusio Fontes made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Gilberto Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Socamirim's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Tande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilson Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nilson Diniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Chaves in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes Socamirim got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Novaes. In the 65th minute, Gilberto Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Erasmo Dracena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Socamirim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Enseadinha AD the free kick. After 66 played minutes Socamirim got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Dracena. 70 minutes into the match, Enseadinha AD's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Tande came free, but Nilson Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Gilberto Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilberto Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sidnei Lara hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Raimundo Chaves struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Nilson Diniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Socamirim. If Raimundo Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Chaves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Nilson Diniz made a huge save. The supporters of Enseadinha AD booed when Socamirim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Socamirim could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Enseadinha AD throughout the match.
