Beto Cosme acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alex de Toledo. After 9 played minutes Pains got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Azevedo. If Pedrinho Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. Beto Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Melo in the 21st minute of play. After 27 played minutes Pains got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Azevedo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaká Melo in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beto Cosme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joaquim Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Netto in the 30th minute of the match. Kaká Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaká Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Beto Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 minutes, Eliézer Couto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Persia Fc and the Pains players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Persia Fc getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Eliézer Couto hit a great ball. Pedrinho Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Leal to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Pains was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Beto Cosme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaká Melo went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Kaká Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil Netto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Joaquim Paulista made a huge save. In the 96th minute, Eliézer Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute, Antônio Paiva sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Persia Fc's Joaquim Paulista didn't even have to move. There was no doubt that Persia Fc were the better team. Persia Fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
