The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Willian Hoffmann came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Colorado F.C's Matias Montae. But to his dismay, Matias Montae quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ramon Matei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Willian Hoffmann having to make a save. Willian Hoffmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Montae went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute, Ramon Matei made a precise shot to the right of Willian Hoffmann. Los Angeles FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 1-3 became the score in the 33rd minute when Marquinhos Hermes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 38 minutes of play, Colorado F.C's Juan Romero made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willian Hoffmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Colorado F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Hermes came free, but Dário Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willian Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Montae, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Los Angeles FC defense, Matias Montae kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willian Hoffmann. The Los Angeles FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willian Hoffmann should have stopped the shot. 58 minutes into the match, Colorado F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Hermes came free, but Dário Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Colorado F.C getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Juan Romero hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Dias during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Los Angeles FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Colorado F.C:s goal. Rafael Brito placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out!
