The supporters of Colorado F.C booed when Caximba AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antônio Coutinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, one of Caximba AD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caximba AD. When João Augusto da Costa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Ciro de Medeiros got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Ramon Matei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Matei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Coutinho having to interfere. Ciro de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Dário Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Colorado F.C fully deserved thier win.
