Ian Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manoel Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Trancoso having to interfere. Kléberson Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Itaibo SC booed when Jaguaretama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Pedro Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Itaibo SC's Doriva Coutinho got a free kick in the 19th minute. Mané Britto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Pedro Prestes went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The referee gave Itaibo SC a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rafinha Magalhães, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jaguaretama's Ian Trancoso. 1-1. In the 34th minute, Kléberson Paes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ian Trancoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ian Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléberson Paes in the 37th minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, Itaibo SC's Kléberson Paes made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Trancoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Jaguaretama's zone, Kléberson Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Trancoso came out of the goal and Kléberson Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Juninho Netto made the kick off in the second half. When Juninho Netto came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Jaguaretama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juninho Netto couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, Wilton Sena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ian Trancoso. Jaguaretama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilton Sena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Ian Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléberson Paes in the 59th minute of play. Kléberson Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Trancoso having to interfere. Ian Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléberson Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Jaguaretama's Edson Barral got a free kick in the 70th minute. Rafinha Magalhães took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ian Trancoso. Jaguaretama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Itaibo SC's Kléberson Paes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ian Trancoso. Ian Trancoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. After having played for 75 minutes, Manoel Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itaibo SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manoel Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ian Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléberson Paes in the 77th minute of the match. Ian Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléberson Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mané Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Prestes in the 81st minute of the match. Kléberson Paes might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ian Trancoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kléberson Paes ran back to his position shaking his head. Kléberson Paes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ian Trancoso having to make a save. In the 93rd minute Franklin Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Ian Trancoso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kléberson Paes struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Ian Trancoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaibo SC.
