If Kléberson Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Franklin Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Adolfo Moreno having to interfere. When Itaibo SC's Doriva Coutinho in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Realmatismo's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Itaibo SC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Wilton Sena hit a great ball. Wilton Sena hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes Realmatismo got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Arantes. Rafinha Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. João Adolfo Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaibo SC. In the 24th match minute, Realmatismo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remo Leão to maneuver through the defense. Kléberson Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. João Adolfo Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franklin Secco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Adolfo Moreno having to make a save. In the 46th minute, Itaibo SC's Kléberson Paes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enéas Linares to make the kick off. Manoel Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Kléberson Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Manoel Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Itaibo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manoel Fernandez couldn't finish the play. If Doriva Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manoel Fernandez in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Adolfo Moreno saved Realmatismo from getting behind. João Adolfo Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléberson Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Remo Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Realmatismo's João Adolfo Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléberson Paes in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Kléberson Paes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. João Adolfo Moreno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 78 minutes into the game, Remo Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Realmatismo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itaibo SC the free kick. After 78 played minutes Realmatismo got a freekick which was hit by Remo Leão. Doriva Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manoel Fernandez took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Adolfo Moreno. João Adolfo Moreno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. João Adolfo Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléberson Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mané Britto made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Lúcio Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target.
