Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gatos's Acácio Zonta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Ian Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mondahy SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ian Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fiori Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 6 played minutes Ian Cruz rounded Gatos's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. A collision led to Gatos getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Paulinho Furtado hit a great ball. Mondahy SS's Mauro Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Vidal in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Egídio Madureira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gatos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mondahy SS the free kick. The supporters of Mondahy SS booed when Gatos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gatos's Acácio Zonta in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mondahy SS's goalie prevented a goal. If Armando Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Mondahy SS's Jonas Peixoto got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The attack was good, but when Armando Vidal in the 38th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Acácio Zonta scored 1-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Carioca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Egídio Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gatos's Fiori Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Gatos from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ian Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jonas Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Celso Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acácio Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Mondahy SS's Mauro Carioca got control of the ball when Armando Vidal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauro Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio Zonta in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Armando Vidal made a precise shot to the right of Mauro Carioca. Mondahy SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3.
