Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleiton Alvarenga in the 5th minute of play forced Creedence Clearwater Bra's goalkeeper Tomasz Rydzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Guimarães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Tomasz Rydzewski made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Roger Guimarães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomasz Rydzewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Marquinhos Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurinho Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Marquinhos Tasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Maurinho Corrêa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Creedence Clearwater Bra's Zézinho Berger got a free kick in the 25th minute. Itacuru's Luís Gustavo da Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Creedence Clearwater Bra's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton Alvarenga came free, but Tomasz Rydzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Gino da Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 played minutes Creedence Clearwater Bra got a freekick which was hit by Dito Varela. Olavo Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Itacuru's zone, Hernani Alvarenga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurinho Corrêa came out of the goal and Hernani Alvarenga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marquinhos Tasso struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Maurinho Corrêa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Creedence Clearwater Bra.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marquinhos Tasso made a kick off. Hernani Alvarenga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Maurinho Corrêa made a huge save. 59 minutes into the match, Itacuru's goalkeeper Maurinho Corrêa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernani Alvarenga. Maurinho Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Tasso in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Itacuru's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hernani Alvarenga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Itacuru booed when Creedence Clearwater Bra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 75 played minutes, Itacuru's Luís Gustavo da Cunha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomasz Rydzewski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Itacuru reached it. If Cleiton Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomasz Rydzewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Souza in the 83rd minute of the match. Marquinhos Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Maurinho Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Augustin Calota reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maurinho Corrêa. The goal made the score 2-2.
