Purilandia's Willian França played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Vasquez in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Botelho in the 13th minute of play forced Bago's goalkeeper Laércio Zilles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Purilandia's Marcos Botelho in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bago's goalie prevented a goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willian França prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Purilandia's Willian França played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Sampaio in the 39th minute of play. Adolfo Nunes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 41st playminute. Luís Paulo Brasil might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willian França. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Paulo Brasil ran back to his position shaking his head. Willian França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Vasquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luís Paulo Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Marcos Botelho made the kick off in the second half. Adolfo Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Laércio Zilles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adolfo Nunes's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Edinho Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Willian França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laércio Zilles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Botelho in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Botelho in the 67th minute of play forced Bago's goalkeeper Laércio Zilles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Purilandia's goalkeeper Willian França, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Purilandia's Willian França proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Purilandia from getting a goal against them. Dinei Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Paulo Brasil succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 84th playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Paulo Brasil got free with Willian França in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomás Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Willian França showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Purilandia succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Bago had controlled the match.
