Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Buarque's Augusto Quadros started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Deivid Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Dito Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Palomas getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ezequiel Mendonça hit a great ball. If Deivid Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vinícius Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Cavalcante in the 18th minute of play. Olavo Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Palomas's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Quadros came free, but Dito Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Buarque's zone, Ezequiel Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinícius Brasil came out of the goal and Ezequiel Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Deivid Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buarque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deivid Mazza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Vinícius Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Deivid Mazza got free with Dito Viana in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodrigo Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ezequiel Mendonça to make the kick off. Augusto Quadros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dito Viana having to make a save. In the 58th minute of the match Buarque got a corner. Palomas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcel Diniz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Buarque's corner Marcel Diniz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dito Viana quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Quadros in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dito Viana saved Palomas from getting behind. Augusto Quadros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dito Viana having to make a save. Ezequiel Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Vinícius Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deivid Mazza struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Dito Viana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buarque. In the 79th minute, Deivid Mazza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buarque fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Dito Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Mazza in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Quadros in the 86th minute of play forced Palomas's goalkeeper Dito Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deivid Mazza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 minutes, Franklin Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palomas and the Buarque players grew even worse after the yellow card. Deivid Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dito Viana having to interfere. If Augusto Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palomas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
