With his leg Patrick Bueno managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when RangelFla's Luiz Gustavo Arce fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vinícius Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Mello in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, RangelFla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 35 minutes, Samuel Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tambaqui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Mello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. RangelFla's Vinícius Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Romero in the 37th minute of play. Patrick Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Arce in the 41st minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wiliam Moura to strike the kick off in the second half.
