Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcos de Azevedo kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, C.R. FLAMENGO - RJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guga de Moraes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to C.R. FLAMENGO - RJ getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Guga de Moraes hit a great ball. Carlos Alberto Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Priidik Õis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, C.R. FLAMENGO - RJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Antunes to maneuver through the defense. Priidik Õis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos de Azevedo in the 16th minute of play. Carlos Alberto Magalhães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Priidik Õis having to make a save. 30 minutes into the game, Guga de Moraes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.R. FLAMENGO - RJ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tacare EC the free kick. The supporters of Tacare EC booed when C.R. FLAMENGO - RJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guga de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When C.R. FLAMENGO - RJ's Sebastião Guimarães in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tacare EC's goalie prevented a goal. Cido Pombal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldinho Secco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Osvaldinho Secco came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by C.R. FLAMENGO - RJ's Sebastião Guimarães. But to his dismay, Sebastião Guimarães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 45th match minute, C.R. FLAMENGO - RJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Antunes to maneuver through the defense.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Guimarães in the 55th minute of play forced Tacare EC's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Secco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tacare EC's Osvaldinho Secco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Tacare EC from getting a goal against them. If Cido Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes Tacare EC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Gomes. Thomas Durry, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sebastião Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Sebastião Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho Secco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastião Guimarães's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Sebastião Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldinho Secco having to interfere. When Guga de Moraes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. A collision led to C.R. FLAMENGO - RJ getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Guga de Moraes hit a great ball. When Tacare EC's Marcos de Azevedo in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.R. FLAMENGO - RJ's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tacare EC's zone, Danilo Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldinho Secco came out of the goal and Danilo Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cido Pombal got free with Osvaldinho Secco in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tacare EC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though C.R. FLAMENGO - RJ had controlled the match.
