Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luiz Paulo Cavalcante took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Aníbal Faria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Priidik Õis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, one of C.R. FLAMENGO - RJ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Priidik Õis went to the wrong direction when Jarbas Queirós was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Athletic Los Vikingos's zone, Cido Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manoel Xavier came out of the goal and Cido Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Athletic Los Vikingos's Manoel Xavier got control of the ball when Cido Pombal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manoel Xavier came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by C.R. FLAMENGO - RJ's Cido Pombal. But to his dismay, Cido Pombal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Athletic Los Vikingos's zone, Cido Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manoel Xavier came out of the goal and Cido Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Athletic Los Vikingos's goalkeeper Manoel Xavier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guga de Moraes. Cido Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel Xavier having to interfere. A collision led to C.R. FLAMENGO - RJ getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cido Pombal hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Athletic Los Vikingos's goalkeeper Manoel Xavier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cido Pombal. Manoel Xavier came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by C.R. FLAMENGO - RJ's Cido Pombal. But to his dismay, Cido Pombal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Athletic Los Vikingos's zone, Cido Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manoel Xavier came out of the goal and Cido Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Cido Pombal made the kick off in the second half. Luiz Paulo Cavalcante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Priidik Õis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Jarbas Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Aníbal Faria made a precise shot to the right of Priidik Õis. C.R. FLAMENGO - RJ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. José Pedro Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Priidik Õis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Cido Pombal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Priidik Õis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Paulo Cavalcante in the 76th minute. Gildo Vander succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 76th playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Cido Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.R. FLAMENGO - RJ's supporters rose to their feet, but Cido Pombal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manoel Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Danilo Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Luiz Paulo Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Athletic Los Vikingos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Paulo Cavalcante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cido Pombal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manoel Xavier having to make a save. Jarbas Queirós's late challenge caught a C.R. FLAMENGO - RJ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarbas Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Athletic Los Vikingos getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jarbas Queirós hit a great ball. With his leg Priidik Õis managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Athletic Los Vikingos's Luiz Paulo Cavalcante fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Athletic Los Vikingos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
