Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guilherme Senna started the match with the kick off. If Jeferson Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Guilherme Senna made a precise shot to the right of Glauco Peixoto. Curitibanos AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 11th play minutes Guilherme Senna shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Glauco Peixoto and just under the crossbar into goal. Jeferson Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Peixoto having to interfere. After 24 minutes, Silvinho Guedes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curitibanos AD and the Areja FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silvinho Guedes kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Curitibanos AD's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Senna came free, but Glauco Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeferson Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Peixoto having to interfere. Curitibanos AD's Glauco Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano Paraense in the 31st minute of play. Jeferson Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guilherme Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Glauco Peixoto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. If Jeferson Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Guilherme Senna came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Areja FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guilherme Senna couldn't finish the play. When Dino Madureira fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curitibanos AD's protests and gave Dino Madureira a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Areja FC booed when Curitibanos AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manolo Mesquita was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 46 minutes, Jorge Pena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Areja FC and the Curitibanos AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jorge Pena hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tibúrcio de Brito was the one to do the kick off. Guilherme Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Glauco Peixoto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guilherme Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. Tibúrcio de Brito took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jânio Ceresso. Jânio Ceresso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Guilherme Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Peixoto having to interfere. When Dino Madureira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. After 72 played minutes Curitibanos AD got a freekick which was hit by Dino Madureira. Guilherme Senna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Glauco Peixoto having to make a save. Jorge Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeferson Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the last second Glauco Peixoto throw himself and got hold of the ball when Guilherme Senna in the 88thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Ulisses de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Ceresso having to interfere. Tibúrcio de Brito struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jânio Ceresso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curitibanos AD. Ulisses de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Ceresso having to interfere. If Jeferson Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeferson Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Curitibanos AD succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Areja FC had controlled the match.
