In the 8th match minute, Pejeu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doni de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Alan Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot. ONZE GUEREIROS F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan Quintal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulinho Motta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute Wellington Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Barreto's late challenge caught a Pejeu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Barreto helped the player get up and apologised. When José Maria Furtado came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the ONZE GUEREIROS F.C fans jumped to their feet. One of Pejeu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ONZE GUEREIROS F.C:s goal. With a little luck, Pejeu's Paulinho Motta got control of the ball when Alan Quintal tried to sneak it across the goal line. ONZE GUEREIROS F.C's Dagoberto Mattos got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pejeu's Paulinho Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Maria Furtado in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, ONZE GUEREIROS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cléberson Sarmento came free, but Christian Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulinho Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Furtado in the 79th minute of play. Jorginho Gaspar hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Alan Quintal came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the ONZE GUEREIROS F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Quintal couldn't finish the play. After 94 minutes of play, ONZE GUEREIROS F.C's Gustavo Barreto made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulinho Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Queiroz in the 100th minute of play forced ONZE GUEREIROS F.C's goalkeeper Christian Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ONZE GUEREIROS F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
