Sílvio Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Albuquerque in the 6th minute of the match. Sílvio Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. A hard shot by Fausto Vianna from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Dinei Berger's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Dinei Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléber do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Dinei Berger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kléber do Valle's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. When Denílson Pitta fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mamata AD's protests and gave Denílson Pitta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Denílson Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdemar de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sílvio Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Valdemar de Brito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Loyola was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Miguelopolis AD's Sílvio Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar de Brito in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Miguelopolis AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Pontes to maneuver through the defense. Dinei Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdemar de Brito was the one to do the kick off. Baltazar Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luís Gustavo Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardinho de Almeida hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Miguelopolis AD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Baltazar Albuquerque fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Valdemar de Brito spun around in front of the goal 62 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Miguelopolis AD's goal. Sílvio Loyola was a little too slow when Baltazar Albuquerque got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-2. Dinei Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléber do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Kléber do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Berger having to interfere. After 71 minutes of play, Mamata AD's Valdemar de Brito made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Loyola was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute Luís Gustavo Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardinho de Almeida during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Miguelopolis AD booed when Mamata AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardinho de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Mamata AD's Sidnei Amorim got a free kick in the 80th minute. A collision led to Mamata AD getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Valdemar de Brito hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Miguelopolis AD's zone, Baltazar Albuquerque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Loyola came out of the goal and Baltazar Albuquerque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the game, Anselmo Furtado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miguelopolis AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mamata AD the free kick. 95 minutes into the match, Miguelopolis AD's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar de Brito came free, but Sílvio Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Mamata AD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
