After 3 played minutes Guadalajara Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Róbson Lopez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Fernandez in the 4th minute of play forced Guadalajara Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Valdomiro Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Falcão in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogério Sampaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José Pedro Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Valdomiro Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Róbson Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos AD's Rogério Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Falcão in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Guadalajara Esporte Clube's zone, Wilson Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdomiro Tróia came out of the goal and Wilson Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Róbson Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Rogério Sampaio made a huge save. After 32 minutes of play, Domingos AD's Wilson Fernandez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdomiro Tróia was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the game, José Pedro Faria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Valdomiro Tróia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 41 minutes into the match, Domingos AD's José Pedro Faria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdomiro Tróia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Domingos AD's zone, Róbson Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogério Sampaio came out of the goal and Róbson Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Domingos AD were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Wilson Fernandez might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdomiro Tróia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilson Fernandez ran back to his position shaking his head. Valdomiro Tróia made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Wilson Fernandez sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute José Pedro Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingos AD's Rogério Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Falcão in the 62nd minute of play. Róbson Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Rogério Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogério Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Róbson Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Rogério Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abelardo Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Sampaio having to interfere. The Guadalajara Esporte Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Domingos AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Domingos AD.
