Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ramón Fantini started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Nenem FC's Ramón Fantini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cláudio Cearense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Morretes's goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Fantini came free, but Cláudio Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Ramón Fantini made a precise shot to the right of Cláudio Cearense. Morretes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Cacá Hames got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 21 minutes into the game, Silvério Arruda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nenem FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morretes the free kick. In the 21st minute, Silvério Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, Custódio Vasconcelos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Cléberson Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nenem FC's Cléberson Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá Hames in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Cacá Hames hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Ramón Fantini notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Morretes's Cláudio Cearense. Cláudio Cearense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th match minute, Nenem FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. Cacá Hames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ramón Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Ricardo Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ramón Fantini came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Nenem FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramón Fantini couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cacá Hames stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Morretes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Rossi to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Ronaldinho Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Cacá Hames got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cláudio Cearense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Fabiano Vander went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 69th minute Egídio Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléberson Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fabiano Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Morretes's goalkeeper Cláudio Cearense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Fabiano Vander. Cacá Hames struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Cléberson Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morretes. Cléberson Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacá Hames, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. A collision led to Morretes getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Almir Lara hit a great ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Custódio Vasconcelos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nenem FC's Cléberson Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 93 played minutes, Morretes's Luiz Vieira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cléberson Magalhães came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Morretes reached it.
