The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Joaquim Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Valle in the 13th minute of play forced Pitangui SS's goalkeeper Bruninho Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquim Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Pedrinho Souza had to leave the field with a concussion. 19 minutes into the game, Renan Mesquita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blαck Pαитнєяร Uxx's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pitangui SS the free kick. Renan Mesquita hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Bruninho Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Netto in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Blαck Pαитнєяร Uxx's Joaquim Netto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruninho Prado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Joaquim Netto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 36 in the game by Luiz Guilherme Baptista from a close distance when the talented Amauri Penha managed to make a qualified save. Blαck Pαитнєяร Uxx's players were relieved. 48 minutes into the match, Pitangui SS's goal looked a bit too open when Renan Mesquita came free, but Bruninho Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Blαck Pαитнєяร Uxx were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Enrique Valle made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Blαck Pαитнєяร Uxx's Enrique Valle got a free kick in the 51st minute. Pitangui SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Enrique Valle scored to the left of an out of position Bruninho Prado, making the score, 0-2. Blαck Pαитнєяร Uxx's Enrique Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amauri Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vito Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Penha having to interfere. During the 68th minute of the match Renan Mesquita completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Renan Mesquita a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 69 played minutes Blαck Pαитнєяร Uxx got a freekick which was hit by Renan Mesquita. 76 minutes into the match, Vito Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amauri Penha. Blαck Pαитнєяร Uxx's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vito Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 81st minute Luiz Guilherme Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Netto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Pitangui SS's Luiz Guilherme Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amauri Penha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francisco de Sena hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The Blαck Pαитнєяร Uxx players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
