Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Téo Valadares started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd match minute, Gelo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manolo de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Gelo SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Téo Valadares 6 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Patrício Cordeiro came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Gelo SC's Fernando Xavier. But to his dismay, Fernando Xavier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 24 minutes, Aloísio Moura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Virginopolis and the Gelo SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Inácio Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 played minutes Virginopolis got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Moura. Patrício Cordeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inácio Trancoso's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. If Inácio Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Válter Braga hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Fernando Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrício Cordeiro having to interfere. Luís Brodel made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Diego Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Luís Brodel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Diego Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Téo Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Xavier made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Romeu Melo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gelo SC and the Virginopolis players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gelo SC's Romeu Melo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Romeu Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gelo SC's Luís Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Ribeiro in the 57th minute of play. Luís Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Valadares in the 63rd minute of play. If Téo Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Téo Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Luís Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Ribeiro in the 74th minute of play forced Gelo SC's goalkeeper Luís Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th match minute, Virginopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Moura to maneuver through the defense. Gelo SC's Luís Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Valadares in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Gelo SC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Fernando Xavier hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Téo Valadares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Brodel. Gelo SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Téo Valadares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Inácio Trancoso struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Patrício Cordeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gelo SC. After 91 minutes of play, Virginopolis's Diego Ribeiro made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Brodel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Téo Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Luís Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gelo SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
