Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Caio Barros made the kick off and thus started the match. Albertinho Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio Barros in the 3rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caio Barros in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albertinho Tande saved Caboclinho from getting behind. Albertinho Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Barros in the 8th minute of play. Almir Maranhense might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albertinho Tande. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Almir Maranhense ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the match, Caio Barros notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Caboclinho's Albertinho Tande. Albertinho Tande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caio Barros in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albertinho Tande saved Caboclinho from getting behind. Almir Maranhense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Caio Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maneco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Caio Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertinho Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caio Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Tande having to interfere. Luís dos Santos's late challenge caught a Caboclinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís dos Santos helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Maneco FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís dos Santos. Maneco FC's Jacinto Nogueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Maneco FC from getting a goal against them. Cássio Maranhenses short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Jacinto Nogueira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Renatinho Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caboclinho's protests and gave Renatinho Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Caboclinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Almir Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Tande having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renatinho Nascimento to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Maneco FC got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Matos. If Almir Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Caboclinho's zone, Almir Maranhense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertinho Tande came out of the goal and Almir Maranhense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, Maneco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Maranhense came free, but Jacinto Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Almir Maranhense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albertinho Tande having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, Maneco FC's Dé Cerezo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albertinho Tande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute of the game, Almir Maranhense landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 72 minutes, Nilmar Corrêa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caboclinho and the Maneco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Caboclinho! A collision led to Maneco FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Luís dos Santos hit a great ball. Jacinto Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Nascimento in the 79th minute of play. Renatinho Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Nogueira having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Alfredinho Ferraz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caboclinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maneco FC the free kick. Maneco FC's Dé Cerezo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Maneco FC's zone, Cássio Maranhense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Nogueira came out of the goal and Cássio Maranhense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Maneco FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caboclinho throughout the match.
