If Edinho Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Luisinho Dracena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Betinho Dante was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Romeu Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Elivélton de Castro made a huge save. Elivélton de Castro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Romeu Lima showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Romeu Lima took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elivélton de Castro. Elivélton de Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Elivélton de Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Compasso FC's José Augusto Ortiz got a free kick in the 28th minute. It was beautiful to see Bubbaloo Team's Dário Branco in action when he in the 29th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 34th minute, Ian Arantes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Compasso FC's Elivélton de Castro threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedro Paulo Coelho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bubbaloo Team's Elivélton de Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Bubbaloo Team from getting a goal against them. 41 minutes into the game, Angelo Veiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bubbaloo Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Compasso FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bubbaloo Team's Angelo Veiga got a free kick in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Edinho Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bubbaloo Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Edinho Prestes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betinho Dante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romeu Lima's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Elivélton de Castro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Paulo Coelho to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Valdomiro Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edson Mazza hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When Romeu Lima came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Compasso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeu Lima couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Luisinho Dracena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Betinho Dante was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Elivélton de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeu Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Pedro Paulo Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bubbaloo Team's Elivélton de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Coelho in the 73rd minute of play. When Valdomiro Moreno fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Compasso FC's protests and gave Valdomiro Moreno a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bubbaloo Team getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Percy Vasconcelos hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match José Augusto Ortiz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elivélton de Castro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luisinho Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Betinho Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Veiga hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Elivélton de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Coelho in the 88th minute of play. Carlos Koehler hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Elivélton de Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Compasso FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Bubbaloo Team for much of the match.
