Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Simão de Medeiros kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Leonel Baiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maynart's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pinhal SC the free kick. Pinhal SC made a substitution. Jano Palmeira replaced Raúl Rossi. Leonel Baiano hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Pinhal SC's Jano Palmeira got a free kick in the 5th minute. Simão de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Teodoro Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Cunha having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Maynart got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Santos. After a rather tough play, Maynart's Jânio Passos got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Chap in the 21st minute of play forced Maynart's goalkeeper Teodoro Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Figueiredo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Geovani Vander sent off a good shot on target. João Augusto Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Figueiredo having to interfere. After some careless play in the Maynart defense, Simão de Medeiros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodoro Cunha. The Maynart fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodoro Cunha should have stopped the shot. Simão de Medeiros might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simão de Medeiros ran back to his position shaking his head. Teodoro Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão de Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Maynart booed when Pinhal SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo José Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Paulo Guimarães had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodoro Cunha. Maynart's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Guimarães was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Pinhal SC's Simão de Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Augusto Leite was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Pinhal SC's Simão de Medeiros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teodoro Cunha. That made the score 0-3 after 53 minutes of play. Maynart's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Zé Augusto Sarmento 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. The supporters of Pinhal SC booed when Maynart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovani Vander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Figueiredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovani Vander went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Jano Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Teodoro Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Vander in the 82nd minute of play. João Augusto Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Figueiredo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Vander in the 86th minute of play forced Pinhal SC's goalkeeper Alex Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simão de Medeiros in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Pinhal SC's goal looked a bit too open when João Augusto Leite came free, but Alex Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Augusto Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Maynart fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pinhal SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
