Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Reginaldo Esteves made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Atauba SC's Kléber Vargas got a free kick in the 2nd minute. When Reginaldo Esteves got free in front of the goal in the 4th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. João Francisco Sá was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Reginaldo Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eriberto Zonta during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Mate got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Zonta. After a defensive mix-up in Mate's zone, Tales Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kléberson Xavier came out of the goal and Tales Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tales Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Luisão Campidelis came free, but Kléberson Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilian Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Atauba SC's Luisão Campidelis got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Francisco Sá was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Reginaldo Esteves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Reginaldo Esteves really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Paraense got free with João Francisco Sá in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Pedro Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Mate's Reginaldo Esteves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

João Francisco Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Esteves in the 52nd minute of play. Luís Eduardo Paranaense hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Reginaldo Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco Sá having to interfere. Atauba SC's João Francisco Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Esteves in the 59th minute of play. Pedro Paraense hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Rafael Maciel charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Maciel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Rafael Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute of the match, Luisão Campidelis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kléberson Xavier was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 69 minutes into the match, Atauba SC's goal looked a bit too open when Reginaldo Esteves came free, but João Francisco Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Pedro Paraense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. João Francisco Sá was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 77 played minutes Atauba SC got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Campidelis. A hard shot 81 in the game by Luisão Campidelis from a close distance when the talented Kléberson Xavier managed to make a qualified save. Mate's players were relieved. Kléberson Xavier had great luck who in the 82ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Tales Urbano from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 85 minutes of play Mate's Rafael Maciel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Atauba SC booed when Mate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Atauba SC's Kléber Vargas tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mate's Kléberson Xavier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Mate from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, Eriberto Zonta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.
