In the 3rd minute, Magno Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kauã de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão de Azevedo in the 4th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Colares's Simão de Azevedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kauã de Senna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute of the match, Simão de Azevedo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kauã de Senna saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 14 played minutes Cacoci got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Soares. After recieving a nice pass, Colares's Pedrão Cunha tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Cacoci's Kauã de Senna got control of the ball when Lúcio Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tadeu Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesinha Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesinha Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Senna in the 24th minute of the match. Colares's Cesinha Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Meireles in the 27th minute of play. William Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Cesinha Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Simão de Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Kauã de Senna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gil Senna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval Seco in the 51st minute of play forced Cacoci's goalkeeper Kauã de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesinha Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Senna in the 53rd minute of play. Isaltino de Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Cesinha Gaúcho made a huge save. Cesinha Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Kauã de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Gil Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacoci's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cesinha Gaúcho came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Cacoci's Isaltino de Barros. But to his dismay, Isaltino de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3.
