In the 3rd minute Rubens Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Samuel Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naru EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juvenal Recife didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rubens Sampaio went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Mihail Constantin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Stavenger-1931 F.C booed when Naru EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juvenal Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Eduardo de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedrinho Martins charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedrinho Martins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Naru EC got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Martins. The audience held their breath when 沈誉邦 in the 38th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the João Augusto Severo's left hand side. Mihail Constantin in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of João Augusto Severo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Narciso Quadros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but João Augusto Severo made a huge save. 47 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Stavenger-1931 F.C's Mihail Constantin fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Mihail Constantin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Naru EC's João Augusto Severo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 54th minute, Renatinho Cardoso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juvenal Recife. The goal made the score 0-2. Laércio Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. João Augusto Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Mihail Constantin made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Naru EC's João Augusto Severo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rubens Sampaio succeeded in the game's 69th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. In the 95th minute of the match, Rubens Sampaio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Juvenal Recife was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Juvenal Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Tavares in the 97th minute of the match. Chants of Naru EC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Stavenger-1931 F.C had held the ball for most of the match.
