When Timao Zona Leste's Zé Prestes in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Guga Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Diamantino Cabral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geovânio Ramos in the 37th minute. If Geovânio Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Zé Prestes made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Tiago Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guga Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57thth minute of the game Tiago Reis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Timao Zona Leste's Guga Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Timao Zona Leste's Zé Prestes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diamantino Cabral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Tiago Reis took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Guga Lara to make any attempt to save it. Tiago Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Guga Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diamantino Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovânio Ramos in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Zé Prestes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Prestes in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diamantino Cabral saved LOUVEIRA F.C. from getting behind. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Jean Arantes sped through Timao Zona Leste's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guga Lara. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. LOUVEIRA F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
