Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Diego de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Contracto's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego de Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caio Cearense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Contracto's zone, Vito Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dênis Cosme came out of the goal and Vito Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Arcado EC's Vito Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dênis Cosme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Eusébio Maranhense came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Contracto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Maranhense couldn't finish the play. In the 15th match minute, Arcado EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Urbano to maneuver through the defense. Gernando Trigos short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Caio Cearense to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego de Azevedo in the 20th minute of play forced Arcado EC's goalkeeper Caio Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Arcado EC got a corner. Contracto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Glauco Lira ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Arcado EC's Glauco Lira to fire away a dangerous shot which Dênis Cosme despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Santos in the 30th minute of play forced Contracto's goalkeeper Dênis Cosme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Contracto getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ronaldão Nogueira hit a great ball. Glauco Lira missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 34 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Dênis Cosme right hand side. In the 36th minute Márcio de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Bernardo Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eusébio Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego de Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Diego de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vito Santos made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Jean Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Arcado EC booed when Contracto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego de Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Diego de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Maranhense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Contracto's Dênis Cosme got control of the ball when Márcio de Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 72 minutes, Gernando Trigo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Contracto and the Arcado EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Arcado EC booed when Contracto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gernando Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Arcado EC's Dênis Cosme threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vito Santos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 77th match minute, Arcado EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Urbano to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arcado EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nilmar Ferreira was slow to take the kick. During this time Contracto's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Nilmar Ferreira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Caio Cearense quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusébio Maranhense in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caio Cearense saved Arcado EC from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Jean Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute of the match Nilmar Ferreira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caio Cearense skillfully saved the ball. Eusébio Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Cearense having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Arcado EC's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Maranhense came free, but Caio Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arcado EC's Caio Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego de Azevedo in the 96th minute of play. Arcado EC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
