Abel Pena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Juvenal de Queiroz made a huge save. 1-0 became the score in the 12th minute when Abel Pena elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to S.E.LosPicas getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Alfredo Baptista hit a great ball. In the 21st match minute, Bolopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eurico Donato to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Mandrak in the 24th minute of play forced Bolopolis's goalkeeper Juvenal de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Pena who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Juvenal de Queiroz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Raimundo Mandrak's late challenge caught a Bolopolis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Mandrak helped the player get up and apologised. Juvenal de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Mandrak in the 30th minute of the match. Juvenal de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Mandrak in the 32nd minute of play. Cristian Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo Quaresma having to interfere. Bolopolis's Cristian Loyola got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raúl Proença scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Léo Quaresma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 46 played minutes S.E.LosPicas got a freekick which was hit by Abel Pena. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raimundo Mandrak was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, João Pedro Xavier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolopolis and the S.E.LosPicas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bolopolis getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. João Pedro Xavier hit a great ball. In the 52nd match minute, S.E.LosPicas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Pena to maneuver through the defense. When Cristian Loyola came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Bolopolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Loyola couldn't finish the play. Juvenal de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Pena in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Bolopolis's Cristian Loyola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Léo Quaresma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Ulisses Ferreira in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bolopolis's Américo Fantini. Bolopolis's attentive Américo Fantini managed to snatch the ball when Ulisses Ferreira made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. In the 78th minute Raúl Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Quaresma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to S.E.LosPicas getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Carlinhos Maia hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Jerônimo Britto in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bolopolis's Renatinho Alcântara. Juvenal de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Mandrak in the 95th minute of play. Bolopolis were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
