Edvaldo Matorin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. Edvaldo Matorin hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 11 minutes of play, Perimbo's Fabiano Breckenfeld made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olívio Magalhães was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alexandre Miranda scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olívio Magalhães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Figtree United's Olívio Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Miranda in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Perimbo's goalkeeper Alessandro Abraão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Tepedino. 26 minutes into the game, Alexandre Miranda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Olívio Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 29 minutes into the match, Alexandre Miranda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olívio Magalhães. Figtree United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandre Miranda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 34th minute Jaime Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olívio Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Miranda in the 35th minute of the match. Jaime Galvão scored 0-5 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olívio Magalhães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Perimbo were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabiano Breckenfeld to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Jaime Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexandre Miranda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olívio Magalhães. That made the score 0-6 in the 56 minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Perimbo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Galvão to maneuver through the defense. Olívio Magalhães was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alexandre Miranda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 66 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cléber Reis during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vicente Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Eduardo Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano Breckenfeld came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olívio Magalhães could save by the left post. Alexandre Miranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Olívio Magalhães made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Tepedino in the 93rd minute of play forced Perimbo's goalkeeper Alessandro Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Perimbo's Alexandre Miranda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olívio Magalhães. Olívio Magalhães yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. When the match was over Perimbo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Figtree United throughout the match.
