When Jacinto Simões fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cristais AD's protests and gave Jacinto Simões a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cristais AD getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jacinto Simões hit a great ball. The supporters of S.E.Lauzane Pta booed when Cristais AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 30 played minutes Cristais AD got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo Leme. S.E.Lauzane Pta's Gabriel Mårtensson got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, S.E.Lauzane Pta's Gabriel Mårtensson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leopoldo de Toledo. Leopoldo de Toledo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Gabriel Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Mårtensson in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo de Toledo saved Cristais AD from getting behind. Leopoldo de Toledo made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Venancio Dodorol sent off a good shot on target.

When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Gabriel Mårtensson sped through Cristais AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leopoldo de Toledo. Edu Prata lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 55 minutes into the game, one of Cristais AD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Gabriel Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of S.E.Lauzane Pta booed when Cristais AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes, S.E.Lauzane Pta's Narciso Neves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leopoldo de Toledo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.E.Lauzane Pta reached it. If Gabriel Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Dodorol in the 73rd minute of the match. Leopoldo de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Dodorol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo de Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Mårtensson's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. A collision led to Cristais AD getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Zé Paulo Leme hit a great ball. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cristais AD! After a defensive mix-up in Cristais AD's zone, Venancio Dodorol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo de Toledo came out of the goal and Venancio Dodorol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Mårtensson in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo de Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 96 minutes into the match, Venancio Dodorol notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Cristais AD's Leopoldo de Toledo. Leopoldo de Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that S.E.Lauzane Pta were the better team. S.E.Lauzane Pta's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
