Alan Campidelis made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Marcus Albuquerque sent off a good shot on target. Josué Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Campidelis having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Josué Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Magalhaes SS's Alan Campidelis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcus Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Campidelis having to interfere. Josué Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josué Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Alan Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Fernandinho Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magalhaes SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernandinho Soeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Naldo Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Albuquerque's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Alan Campidelis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Fernandinho Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magalhaes SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernandinho Soeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermínio Coutinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcus Albuquerque succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 41st playminute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernandinho Soeiro to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Partidario's goalkeeper Hermínio Coutinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Naldo Macedo. Alan Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Albuquerque in the 54th minute of the match. Alan Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Veiga in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Magalhaes SS booed when Partidario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juarês Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermínio Coutinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naldo Macedo in the 63rd minute. Marcus Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alan Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Albuquerque in the 69th minute of the match. Naldo Macedo came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hermínio Coutinho could save by the left post. Magalhaes SS's Alan Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Albuquerque in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Albuquerque in the 78th minute of play forced Magalhaes SS's goalkeeper Alan Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Magalhaes SS's Nando Ferreira got a free kick in the 91st minute. Elias de Queirós, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Partidario's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
