Marx&Engels FC's Ronaldinho Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Bezerra in the 7th minute of play. Eurico Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldinho Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nando Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, Marx&Engels FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Chiquinho Prado hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Nando Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ronaldinho Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nando Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldinho Velloso came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Marvil FC's Nando Maia. But to his dismay, Nando Maia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With an all-out effort, Marx&Engels FC's Douglas Magalhães threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kléber Amorim, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 34 played minutes Marx&Engels FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Jacinto. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Eurico Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marvil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eurico Bezerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldinho Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Marx&Engels FC's goal looked a bit too open when César Veloso came free, but Ronaldinho Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Douglas Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Luís Jacinto sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eurico Bezerra to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Eliseu de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Marx&Engels FC were awarded a corner. Gilson Guerra went to the cornerflag to take it. Marx&Engels FC's Gilson Guerra was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Douglas Magalhães in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseu de Toledo in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Douglas Magalhães saved Marvil FC from getting behind. Marx&Engels FC's Luís Jacinto got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Marvil FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Chiquinho Prado hit a great ball. Luís Jacinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Douglas Magalhães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Jacinto ran back to his position shaking his head. If Nando Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléber Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Kléber Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marx&Engels FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kléber Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douglas Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Marvil FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. César Veloso hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Marx&Engels FC's Luís Jacinto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Douglas Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marx&Engels FC's Ronaldinho Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Marx&Engels FC from getting a goal against them. The Marx&Engels FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Marvil FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Marvil FC.
